First, there was the theft – then the coins stood still. For the past 10 weeks, three bitcoin address containing more than $140,000-worth of the cryptocurrency has been given more scrutiny than possibly any others on the blockchain. Now held by the hacker or hackers behind the WannaCry ransomware attack, the funds were sent by victims from more than 150 countries in an attempt to unlock their computers from the malicious encryption software. But last week, something stirred – and increments of $20,000-worth of bitcoin began moving into seven new addresses. Slowly, the three addresses that had held the attention of the world began to empty. The question was, where were the coins headed? That the subject would gain such attention perhaps isn’t surprising. At the time of the incident in May, WannaCry attracted global headlines, and bitcoin got a share of the blame. As bitcoin’s value grew over the course of the year, and as it attracted a new class of investors, the incident emerged as a black mark – the latest reminder of how the technology can be used to nefarious ends. “There’s an implication that [blockchains] are well-suited for criminal activity,” said Andrew Poelstra, a mathematician at Blockstream. “Because blockchains make it cheaper to …

USDT\BTC Bitcoin price is forming the third wave of $1,838 mid-term uptrend. Currently, it is being decided whether we’ll see a big price hike or downwards correction to $2,800 The third wave can become the turning point. If there are new capital flows, BTC will move up. The key level responsible for the whole future of the uptrend is at $3,150. Providing no reversal down takes place during the pullback to the level, high chances the rise will remain. Otherwise, the price will have a reversal to the correction. USDT\ETH Ethereum price has similar structure forming. The demand levels show significantly lower numbers, compared to the first wave. This may trigger a pullback. The $246 point is breaking for the whole trend. If the price corrects to this channel without a reversal downwards, it will mean, there are still big purchases in place. In this case, ETH will go up. A reversal down at the $246 point will indicate major buyer closing positions. That way the price might have a pullback. USDT\XRP Ripple is in the midst of its $0.1542 uptrend correction. It is being traded at the most likely pullback bottom. Correction zone to the $0.1542 upward trend will …

TokenCard, which according to their website aims to create a smart contract powered debit card, just managed to raise almost $13 million in about 30 minutes through eth itself as well as other ethereum based tokens, such as SingularDTV (SNGLS). The majority of the funding came through eth, with almost 170,000 sent, valued at around $12,782,000. Some 1.6 million SNGLS tokens were sent with the next biggest being 6,600 Golem (GNT) tokens, which in combination are valued at around half a million dollars. Tokencard ICO stats according to their website. So the figures sort of don’t add up, but they could be using a different price for eth. The token sale, however, has encountered problems. An ethereum proponent and ICO participant found out that those who sent SNGLS received far more tokens than those who sent eth, paying a dollar equivalent of $0.0699 per token while ethers paid in a range of $0.52 to $0.78. A representative from Monolith Studio, which is to create the TokenCard, stated “all is fine” before adding that “on a scale for [sic] 1 to 10 in terms of seriousness; this is a 1.” Many would disagree, giving blatant unfairness in the token sale process, …
